Why would you NOT have a lapband procedure?

Answer:
In what I have read it doesn't give the possibility for enough weight loss. I think many people will still be overweight, or even still obese with the Lapband. I don't think the benefit outweighs the risk. For some people I suppose it would be a good choice... but for most people I think the Roux-en-Y-gastric bypass makes more sense - it's riskier but I believe it's a wiser choice for those who are morbidly obese.
